Salt Lake City History Hunt

All documents must be handed in with a signed business card from a representative of the historical site visited.

2 points will be awarded for each item found.

Total points: 10

DUE: 4/22/2011

1. Take a tour of the Beehive House.
2. Visit the State Historical Society and print any article from any Utah newspaper for the day March 17, 1899.
3. Visit the Midvale Historical Society. Explain what types of exhibits they have. What exhibit was your favorite and why? Do the exhibits fit in the context of national events for the time period available, how?
4. Take a tour of the Governor’s Mansion.
5. Tour the Social Hall Heritage Museum. How is pioneer life depicted? How is this different from what you know about pioneer life? What is the most surprising thing you learned about Utah pioneers?
